The Ampersand Manifesto

Note from the author: This original manifesto is terribly outdated, but I thought I'd leave it here for old time's sake.

The origin of this blog came about when I realized that my writing has become rather rusty. My literary muscles have grown weak and flabby and the only solution to it is to flex and exercise them, until they go back to their former state.

Everyone knows that you should write about what you love, and what I love is comics. I read them, I join discussions about them, I periodically hate them (and hate is just the flip side of love), so the decision to make a blog about comics came about rather easily.

My first thought was to do a weekly review of the comics that came out, but to be honest, there's plenty of other blogs that have been doing it for longer than I have and probably do it far better than I would. So instead I decided to write about what I am reading at the moment, whether it is old or new, good or bad, interesting or boring. I will try my very best to have one daily post or at least seven weekly posts.
